Waterfall Voice

I spotted this waterfall at a distance while exploring along a small farm road in the mountains of central Japan. There was no trail to the falls and after a challenging scramble up the watercourse I arrived just in time for an amazing sight. The dying light of late afternoon was filtering through the trees to lie in glowing patches here and there upon the splashing water. These bits of light moved and faded as the sun was passing slowing among the trees, and I sat and marveled at the sight while listening to the gurgling cascade. After some minutes of peaceful meditation my thoughts went to my camera in hopes that I might capture some bits of these magic minutes to share with you.
