This is my dog Cheeta who developed vestibular disease. It was hard for her to walk without losing her balance. Her eyes moved from side to side and she stopped eating. After a couple trips to the vet and some appetite enhancers, she's almost fully recovered!

  • What kind/mix of dog is that? My dog looks exactly like yours and just recovered from her vestibular episode at age 14.

  • @galwithahammer Her mix is a mystery. Do you know what yours is? Glad to hear she's recovered!

  • my 4 month old sable gsd is doing the same thing! ive been doing tons of research bc i have no money to take her to a vet. when i list her symptoms it keeps saying she has vestibular disease, an ear infection, seizure etc etc. i dont know whats wrong she does the same thing your dog is doing in the video. im taking her to the vet tomorrow since i found one that will examine her for free. i hope its nothing too serious that i cant afford and will eventually have to be put to sleep i love her :'(

  • My dog has similar symptoms but it only like occurs like once every two months. He seems really scared, shivers, loses balance a little bit. But then after a while he goes back to normal. Any ideas of what it could be?

  • How long did it take your dog to get better from this and start walking normally again? My dog just got this last night at 4:40 A.M. and it scared the hell outta us.

  • N.A.S.C.A.R. Syndrome

  • My pup has it too

  • @swie4 don't know for sure what the mix is, but we've always thought some sort of cattle dog like a kelpie mix. she's on death's doorstep daily, it seems, but she keeps bouncing back!
