my mother works for a cat rescue that takes care of cats so they don't have to go to Humane Societies to be put down. Out of all the ASPCA commercials I've seen, this is, without a doubt, the saddest one of all. Truth be told, everytime one of this commercials air on T.V, I changed the channel. I own two beautiful cats, one sick of a flea allergy that cause her to lick her fur off. God these ads always make me cry.

I agree it's a terrible thing that domesticated animals are abused because we as the human race created them and they have helped us improve or lives and advance our technology (Neolithic revolution) but If you give to this organization you should have first given to a human charity.

These pictures are truly heartbreaking. It's a real shame that HSUS is more interested in lobbying, salaries, and pensions than they are in helping animals. They use less than 1/2 of 1% of their hundreds of millions of dollars to actually help animals. Shameful. If you REALLY want to help animals, donate to your local animal shelter.

I have three cats and two dogs they are all rescues and i wish i could have saved more but i couldn't. I still have hope that people will see what they are doing and stop this.

I love this add even though I am still bawling because of seeing how horrible those poor harmless animals are treated.

I just saw this ad on t.v. I hate animal cruelty as much as anyone, but this is just insulting. I'll watch the Sarah McLachlan ads over this anyday
