If only he didn't live all the way on the southern/western part of the state - it would have been very temping to join you. Maybe next time :)

Well if YouTube didn't have a 10 minute limit, it would save us a lot of editing. LOL Had to pare this one down from about 20 minutes of footage. Have more videos on the way from the week.

Really didn't get close enough to tell how clear it was. There was a whole lot of fishing going on. They were catching trout. Terry said that they hauled the sand in from Virginia Beach and it was just beautiful. It was so much fun. We were so excited to meet them that we forgot all about the cameras. That seems to happen a lot. But when we meet you, we will make sure the cameras rolling for sure.

As you know, I suck at getting the cam out too when having the mini-meet ups! I guess we just get wrapped up experiencing the moment that the cam is not a thought! I really need to remember the cam more as I would LOVE to have the memories on video being that my mind is becoming a carrot...LOL
Lovely trip, rain and all! The topping of the mountain made me sad! The alternative sources are out there, they've just been bought by the big corps and they hold onto them! Greed!!

You are so right, we definitely get wrapped up in the moment and forget about the camera and focus on the people and conversation.
Sometimes we think about the camera, but don't want to stop the conversation for pictures and videos.
You are also so right about the energy solutions. It all comes down to greed.

The mountain top removal really is a sad thing and you are right, they are irreplaceable.
