NASTIAmessageBOARD for the correction), usually has trouble watching her daughter perform. This time she stayed in the stands, but it was difficult.

i dont get why she would ever not want to see her daughter compete in every meet...she is totally missing out.

I think - and who knows if I'm right - that was just nervous. As in "I can't look, I can't look - but I have to look..." Who know what kind of emotions go through her mind at that moment. It's intense, but also sort of sweet.

who was anna sitting next to?  she kept like leaning into him-hopefully she knew him and he would have been like "crazy lady"...i wouldn't have minded sitting next to her though, i bet its kinda funny.

I was watching a video about Nastia winning gold in the 2008 Olympics- When they were trying to interview her she was busy trying to CALL her mom to let her mom know she won gold since her mom wouldn't come but her mom kept sending her to voicemail! That is ridiculous! Maybe she feels left out or something since Nastia and her dad are so close since he is her coach. Her daugter won GOLD and she was one of the last people in the WORLD to know- She said she heard "the good news" on the NEWS!

It adorable to watch her "doing" the routine with her daughter. What a great mom who knows exactly what her daughter is trying to accomplish. "BRAVO MOM!!!"

She did go to the olypics. She even did interviews with Nastia and Valeri once the AA final was over.
