Nissan didn't do this from the factory for the same reason that they don't for a number of performance *and* aesthetic mods:

1) It would add to the cost of the car. This is why we have a thriving automotive aftermarket.

2) It is ultimately up to the individual to mod the car as *they* see fit based on their preferences.

"Worth" is in they eye of the beholder...

For the Brits - Torborevs do 3 types of Lambo Door Hinges. Their Universal ones fit ANY car, van, truck etc. and are about £300. They're the cheapest. The others are around £500 - £700 for motorised ones.

For non-Brits - Turborevs will post.
