A quickview on the Randall RH150 G3 in high gain setting. Sorry that I couldn't get that loud as the amp deserves...my neighbors would have been eaten alive by it ;-) Settings are (approx.): Contour: 5, Bass: 3, Middle 5, Treble 6. Played with a Jackson DXMG/EMG Hz and a Laney 4*12" (LV412A), no pedals, just pure Randall-poer! \m/

  • Which one is better RH150G3 od RH50T ?

  • @MsMetalhead37 - they are pretty much diffent. The RH50T is much more traditional...

  • dude... seriously?! the tones ur getting outta this thing are ridiculous. harder than woodpecker lips. i have an MTS coming (versatility), but i'm wondering if i shoulda saved the cash, and got this instead. thoughts?

  • @dg082306 - you did it right! The RH150G3 is great for the money...but there are better Randalls out there ;-) I'm playing the T2HH Heaven & Hell (Gus G signature) now and the MTS series should even be better...

  • @CategoryV but do you know any cheap one thats good.??

  • @CategoryV ah okey ;(

  • @Martyfriedman001 - you can't use the head without the cabinet. Get the combo version, it has integrated speaker...

  • @CategoryV man I have one more question, can I use the head alone with out that laney thing you got there, because Im afraid Ican't affort that at the momment, so I wanna ask if the randall head can be used with out the extra laney speaker.

  • @TheAlianOlsen ask yourself this question

"Do i want a real tube sounding amp or do I want a solid state with slight tube characteristics"

Cost should only come into it if you arn't actually earning money from using the amp, if you are u should splurge and get something that you wont have to replace in the next few years

  • 1:10 Its Paganini!!! I heard this! ;D Cool
