Maritza and I, Papa J, performing a remix of Selena's "COMO LA FLOR" at Florin High School's last multicultural assembly of 2008. Yes, I produced it. Yes we killed it. Yes, nobody messin with us. M.E.X. Records on mines. Oh, and I'm sorry for the technical difficulties with the sound system, for all ya'll who can't really hear my verse it goes like this "Girly I hope that U Know That I Care. That I Miss YOu Whenever YOu Are Not there. To Me, you meant the world, but lately I see that you're a different girl. I thought that we both got shot by cupid, but I guess you grabbed the arrow and removed it. Man, I feel so stupid, 'cause I love you so much and I got just the thing to prove it. Ima get my things and go away just so you can have a brighter day. I hope you find someone better in your life. A man that'l make you happy and never cry. I hope he gives you wings so you can touch the sky. I wish the best for you girl, good bye." So yea, for all those who didnt get to hear it due to the sound system, there it is.

Let me be the first to comment on this vid. I think it is very appreciative to still have the memory of Selena alive til today. Her music...her life story is ageless...and unforgetable. Her presence was incredibly warm and invigorating. in a few short words: Selena Vive!.....

This tribute is o.k. everytime I hear someone else sing her songs...it only reminds me that Selena was like no other.
