Al sounds great here. You can really hear how his voice was important to the band. Thanks for posting.

Love AL!!

I know this song was originally recorded by the Chrystals, but Al's version was so perfectly done from the male perspective (I think it was originally from "Summer Days And Summer Nights") that is was as if the song was written just for him.
Great to see you singing with Brian, Al! You stoked it once again, my friend. And Brian... you continue to amaze us all. Peace to both of you and long may you both run. Love and Mercy, INDEED!

you should lsiten to brians 2010 gigs, he really recovered his voice a lot, hits notes he nas't hit in years, sings clearer, he sounds more like carl now again.

great vocals, not just solid, and his voice is probably the best today, it hold up the best, but brian has also recovered his voice during the last year, don'tt ask me how, he hits notes he hasn't hit in years.

this is really cool.. wish you had the full version tho!
I think Al Jardine was a VERY important member of the Beach Boys that is often left out of the conversation. SOLID rythym player, SOLID vocals, very professional guy... he still has it together after all these years and its really cool to know that these two school chums re-united. I hope they jam together more.
