What I said is the most recent origin story...basically, it's the origin story for the Prime universe, which includes both the High Moon games, Transformers: Prime, and the two novels, Exodus and Exiles. Transformers: Exodus is where I pulled that information.

For all I know what you just said is a different but equally correct origin story but i'm pretty sure that Orion Pax was a simple dock worker who wouldn't let Megatron take the energon from one of the warehouses he worked at. Megatron then shoots him and his girl friend, leaving them both for dead. However they are both brought to the Autobot elder Alpha Trion who uses them as the test subjects in a new reconstruction process. Orion now named Optimus Prime then begins to fight against Megatron.

Forgot about that part. Even so, Omega Supreme is out of commission. He got repaired but he's in no condition to be fighting anytime soon. I think he's just guarding the core at this point.

In the chapter of the Autobot campaign I remember Ratchet takeing care of Omega and start the repaires after Megatron capture him.
