  • Oh and you also should check out Bad As Me by Tom Waits and Grace For Drowning by Steven Wilson

  • @gogolplex74 Will do. Thanks.

  • Some albums are really...Low.

Anyway, i think PJ's album is the best one

  • @therevolvercolombia Any in particular? I'm not going to change anything because this is MY list and opinions, but I'm still interested to gauge everyone else's opinions of the year.

PJ's album grew on me SO much as the year went on - it was really close for number one with Fleet Foxes though.

  • Really, I'm so disappointed with this list... :S

  • @therevolvercolombia I'd be happy if you elaborated. Is it because there is hip-hop etc. in it. I imagine you wanted me to put Noel Gallagher at number 1, or something? <3

  • great list

    Yeah PJ Harvey!

  • Great list, everybody's taste is going to be different. Many not there, that I would have included. The consensus around the world is that Let England shake is the album of 2011, well deserved, in my opinion.

  • The Roots, Battles, BBNG thumbs up

  • Battles <3

  • @dgmcl3284 Really, I will make the video. Anyway, i think the i'm agree with the albums, not the positions.

PD: The hip-hop albums were better this year than others, so it's great that you include these album on the list. (not like the NME list :/)

  • top 50?

    that's some serious business

    Elbow was the best

And I definitely need to check out that Mogwai album

and I also noticed that this list has much bigger variety of genres than previous ones which were just alternative rock
