Top Dawg May 09 - Meece Digital Media

Here is a short clip from the first Top Dawg at Dunn-Benson Dragstrip located in Benson, NC. The day was packed with racing and rain. Even though there was a short delay due to a shower the track was dried off very quickly by track officials.
With Chris Rini's first time at Dunn-Benson he was able to start off with a great first experience taking home the win at the first Top Dawg of the 2009 season. With an exciting final round between Chris and J.D. Goad, moments after the burnout and while staging lightening struck and the track went dark. Luckily it wasn't long before the lights came back on and Chris and J.D. were able to finish the race. Unfortunately J.D. broke on the starting line leaving Chris to take the "W".
We would like to give an honorable mention to J.D. for his ET, running a 4.23 in the first round, a 4.22 in the second round, and a 4.21 in the third.
