This video gives an idea of the progression of construction from start to finish. The model depicts the Union Pacific Railroad crossing of the Mississippi River at Clinton, IL on the Geneva Subdivision. Trains shown crossing the bridge are SD70ACe and SD70M leading a double stack intermodal train and a general manifest. This is an N scale model railroad.

  • Great work! What did you use for the water?

Also, I like the Mozart piano concerto.

  • I am impressed.

  • Really impressive!

  • Excellent scratchbuilding. Assumed you used Plastruct and/or Central Valley parts. That had to take a lot of time and patience. Great job. Thanks for posting!

  • Beautiful workmanship!

  • oh btw, subbed!

  • Supurb work, awesome, thanx for sharing the process of making!

  • Darryl, a project to be proud of for sure. I'm kind of amazed that you constructed the swing bridge in place instead of on the workbench. Great work!!
