I was walking home from yoga today and caught myself dancing around and kicking leaves to my favorite Bon Iver song. I quickly realized I needed to make a video to celebrate and perhaps help me remember the walk. The battery on my video camera hasn't been cooperating so I had to improvise.
I remember my favorite film professor saying that, with the world at the place it is in terms of technology, video production is accessible to anyone. All you need is a phone with a camera on it. Well folks, that's exactly what I have! No fancy equipment to hide behind this time. I didn't really have a story to tell, I just wanted to capture the way the season fit so well with this beautiful song. Not to mention, celebrate the "magic light" of the streets of DC.
The quality is horrific, but I'm just going to play that off as an artistic choice.
