Ross-on-Wye to Symonds Yat by River

The journey of approximately 15 miles took 7 hours as water levels were very low following a very dry month of June. I think I walked in the water, towing the moat almost as much distance as I was able to ride in it.
Although shot from a boat in this instance for film kit carrying convenience, using mostly stop motion stills photography, this journey is a popular canoe route.

I love your camera work. It must be a professional unit. I noticed you put an outboard on your inflatable dingy. Are you allowed to use them on the Wye?

@marcandsebe Hello again. Although not illegal Alan tried not to use the outboard too often because of annoyance to fishermen as well as environmental issues.

Hi Mike. Thanks. It was a great day but I am going to re-film, as per the Wyenot article. Straight video was impossible with two of us in the boat - it's all backs of heads and very jerky and bumpy. Using photos was a last resort rather than an intention. Got lots of film of my bald patch as I was driving. :)
