  • I did billinge the other day and to be honest I enjoyed it for what it is. For DH I personally think its too twisty but theres a few nice bits. The little black section on the boulders is pretty sick but nothing narly. If ya local its worth a stab if your not and your travelling to it then theres better places. In a bit yo!!

  • Also ignore the OP comments about not being good on a full suss. Yeah the course is a bit tight but if you have half decent bike handling skills you can still fly down on a full DH bike

  • Yeah its not spacecowboys course but he and I did originally start building this in 2007, the the trees were marked by spacecowboy so they could be cut down by guys completing community service. Then spacecowboy, myself and a couple of other guys spent numerous evening and weekends dragging a wheel barrow full of dirt up there as it was impossible to dig nearby. Yeah the rock section has more exposed rocks now but our original vision had a section of 3 much larger drops.

  • @spacecowboy22 one of the building lads who built the actual track

  • @olg82 who's your mate by the way?

  • @DiscoJimferno I agreed already its everyones course, if you wish to know my name im Anthony Shorrock and id be willing to come up there to see you when Phil Saxena returns from the world cups. maybe around april, june.

    thanks.

  • @olg82 I agree its not my course, its everyones. there would be no built course if it wasnt for me and my mates. we wore suits and sat in blackburn borough council offices going through risk assessments. and you DONT know the guy who cut the trees down because that was me along with the public order lads. Also the rocks were more than 3 square meters thick in Rhodedendran. And the crappy old course you mention, that went went we made the lay out with Phil Saxena. Sorry!

  • @spacecowboy22 erm...its not your course...no mention because thers nothing there left from the old crapy bit of a course...and i personally know the lad who cut everything down there which was in the way, and he wasnt serving public duties...and all but about 3 square meters of those rocks were underground until the builders came in and ripped off all the soil and rhododendrons growing there. sorry!

  • @fowler765 Looks well worth going there. Only up the road from me aswell.

Is there other tracs there ?

  • @spacecowboy22

Excluding that fact that it is a nigthmare to find, this is quality!

Ive never done any downhill before, and this was amazing.

I went down the route thats on this video first and have to admit I used my brakes a few times, and the opposite DH off the top is also quality.

So much so, im coming back on sunday!
