Searching YouTube for inspiration I stumbled on to the intro of the classic 1967 spider-man cartoon series. While watching I realized that the animation was very basic. It was the paper doll sort of animation that lends itself perfectly to css3. Hmmm I could something like that with a little css3″, I thought.

Web developers care about cross platform/device compatibility, Flash can't always provide that. People are missing the point of this demonstration...

@icopro2010 If your browser doesn't support enough HTML5 or CSS3, you can go to YouTube to watch a recording of the animation running in a browser that does.

Here we have a perfect example of the state of the html5/flash argument. I love how you're showing me a video of a html5/css3 animation in a safari browser specifically pointing out that there is "no Flash" yet I need Flash to watch it because my browser doesn't support html5 or css3. Look Ma, No CSS3 or HTML5!
