  • would be amasing if i could find headphones like that for the autistic. does anyone know where get that kind from? or what they are called ?

  • @autisticNintendofan Yes, you can find them at Big Five or Sport's Authority. People usually use them for hearing protection during target shooting or while working with loud equipment.

  • wow, you are am inspiration to others i bet, your vids are unreal, and thanks for sharing, i can only relate to Autism due to working with adults with autism, also seeing your daughter dancing with her brother made me all teary...i know, silly a!

  • @462kitkat Yes, some studies show mildly autistic (HF) individuals do well on low doses of ritalin or adderall. This seems to be a common theme in autism, dopamine dysfunction. My son would probably do well on low dose ritalin, but unfortunately, with seizures it's contraindicated, so I give him L-tryosine. Ask doctor to look at low dose ADHD drugs for HF autism, if you're interested. Jamey went to a program with a mildly autistic person who loved Jamey, and was always around him.

  • @462kitkat So true...there are a lot of variances in autism. I sure wish the diagnostics would narrow it down. For instance, my son has been tested for prader wili, lesch nyans, fragile x, angelsman, etc...and all have repeatedly been negative. He is truly a classic case of autism. Classic autism is the most severe form.

  • @WizardOfHumor1989 Thank you! You are so encouraging...I really appreciate that. I told Jamey your encouraging words and he smiled.

  • My heart goes out to you and Jamie! With autism, he's a sweet young man! Keep praying within a day of life that awareness of the condition is broad and that things can be helped. God bless you!

  • I pray for you and your family. I am sure it takes a great deal of hard work and drive to keep Jamey comfortable and happy.
