UPDATED INFO (9/20/09) At Last (Tatum Jones) America's Got Talent Audition

UPDATE AT THE END!!! (9/20/09)

HISTORY:

Formed by actress Ming Na, the group At Last labels their style of music hiphopapella - a blend of some hip hip and R&B with some beatboxing. The group originally consisted of 5 people but on their members eventually left. The group still went around the country looking to share their talent with people.

America's Got Talent was quite possibly the group's most successful way to get themselves exposed nationally. So popular was their appearance that they decided to re-release their album Slow Down. You can still buy their music from their official website : http://www.atlastmusic.com/home.html

AFTER AMERICA'S GOT TALENT:
Though the group was able to reach some success appearing on America's Got Talent, many did not know what happened to them afterwards. Well here's the scoop:

One of the members, DJ Say, decided to leave At Last and decided to take his musical career solo. After he left, the remaining members, Hans, Mike and Justin have decided to form a new group called "Tatum Jones" in honor of their great friend that passed away. At Last's myspace went defunct.

CURRENTLY:
Tatum Jones has an EP out called "The Love Movement" which features brand new songs with a very similar style of music to At Last's. DJ Say has been doing covers of some popular songs.

I tried contacting Tatum Jones via their myspace page and wanted to know what really went down between At Last, did DJ Say leave on amicable terms or was there some drama behind the scenes? Alas they never responded to my message. Though that will not stop me from trying. I'm going to try to get in touch with Ming Na or her talent agency Innovazian ( http://www.innovazian.com/ ) I hope you do too!

I am hoping to just reconnect At Last fans to At Last (now Tatum Jones) or atleast share their talent with other
people to get them more recognized.

UPDATE:

DJ Say has contacted me and has confirmed that he is doing a solo project.

The other three guys, Mike, Justin, and Hans are still together as Tatum Jones and frequent clubs and other events where they perform in the California area mostly.

Mike has been pushing for the clothing line "MY NINJA".
