How to install a RF car seat using the seat belt. (Sorry about the wind. The part that you can't hear says that the seat is too upright so I'm using pool noodles to get a good angle.)
She didn't check angle! The purpose of the noodles should be to lift the front. The problem im having is the angle when installing. It seems to have to be sO leaned back :( and hits my front seat.
@ZeitIstKurtz rear-facing seats are designed to "rebound". They move forward and down, then back towards the back of the car, and continue to do so until all of the crash force is gone. This rebounding takes the crash force off of the child and disperses it over the seat instead. That is what makes rear-facing safest for all occupants.
@PedjoGT IT is normal, unless the car seat has some sort of anti rebound system, true fit premier has a anti rebound bar, and britax and sunshine kids radians tether rear facing.. other wise you are not supposed to tether rear facing.. rebound is not an issue at all. the Complete air that she is installing does not have an anti rebound system it is tested and perfectly safe with rebound.
Okay So I have FInally found a video where someone is actually installing a rear facing seat. I read my entire Perego Car Seat Manual, and installed it with the base. At 1:38 you mentioned the movement from front to back is okay. But what happens when you are in a front end collision, isn't that a danger? Please respond
There is no way that the car seat is at the right angle! It needs to be leaning further back. She did not examine the level line at all.

It is not normal that back of the seat moves like that! What in a collision in back of your car?
