Plane crash caused by dog

In this video a dog caused a huge plane crash. The pilot wanted to avoid contact with the dog and because of this plane crashed.

It is clear that the plane ran over a puddle of water which caused the left tires to hydroplane and affected the stability of the plane, the pilot must have over reacted an over corrected the yaw of the plane and eventually lost control.

@Dongskie2 Ah I see that makes sense... yeah cause if he slammed on the breaks because of the dog half-way down the runway why would he veer off to the right? Yep it was pilot error; well, rather, an unfortunate over-correction. :)

Wafoor, no it is not a Russian aircraft. It is a Dornier 328. I believe it was a french design and bombardier bought the company back in the late 90's... Its been a while since I read about it but just run a search for Dornier 328 and you'll find out all you ever wanted to know :-)

You know, if you look at where the dog is in relation to the plane it doeant look like the dog was a factor in this accident at all. Hell it looks more like a tire failure on the left main landing gear...

I bet the dog was like a skunk in the road. The plane had to swerve to miss "the dog".

Pilot error is exclusively for not keeping his plane in the center of the runway and not have emergency procedures and evacuation of passengers. A dog will cause as little damage compared to what happened to the plane.

I think the dog is getting a bum wrap. He had nothing to do with the accident. The rookie piolet just lost concentration.
