they are ceramic braces which are transparent and therefore less noticeable than metal braces, and also they are self-ligating (there is a wire instead of elastic rubber bands that moves on its own freely to readjust the shape of the teeth)

Its definitley worth it! I had four removed before braces the following week, then wisdom teeth out WHILE the braces were on[very small mouth and TMJ..complicated!]...wasnt the most comfortable thing in the first bit, and I just got them off yesterday after three years...I'll tell you. I was ASTOUNDED with the results. I feel more self confident, comfortable and healthy! Its SO worth it!

i had three teeth extracted one last monday and two today.i'm getting my braces next week.gosh! I'M 32.. i hope i'm doing the right thing:(

does ovation-c cost higher than regular braces?about how much with ovation-C? Thanks.

it definitely does get better trust me i work at an orthodontist office in long island the pain usually last for about 4 days, by the way in ovation c are the new technology of braces they work much quicker than regular ones they actually reduce time off of ur treatment!

I just got my braces on today around 100 and it is currently 900, so 8 hours and it has started to hurt around the 6 hour mark, I was just wondering does it get better and the pain go away?

I am concidering braces. I am 32 year old female. I have a delima if i want to have teeth extractions or not. what do people think?

I did get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled 3 months before I got my braces in preparation for them. It went well, I suggest getting the IV and going completely under anesthesia for it. I think that the time we all spend on fixing our teeth will be so worth it in the end- go for the extractions, get it over with, and get your braces on as soon as you can so you can get out of them as soon as you can! Good luck with your plan!

Good luck! I absolutely hate mine. They are so awkward and make me feel so self-conscious. I'm sure I will learn to love them when I start seeing results, but until then, they are my worst enemy...I'm posting another video tomorrow- keep an eye out!
