Today was my rep and cambered band bench day...

Nothing too crazy (250 lbs x 20 is 10 lbs off my PR). I did set a 5 lb PR on the Cambered Bar Band Bench Press with 195 lbs + Bands x 2 Reps. Although, I failed to set a single rep PR when I attempted 230 lbs + Bands.

I did some heavy rows with 160 lbs x 5 reps and 170 lbs x 5 Reps. I am a big believer that if you want to increase your bench you need to increase your rowing strength.

Then I hit some High Incline Shoulder Presses. I did 225 lbs x 2, 250 lbs x 2, and a single with 275 lbs (my best single is 295 lbs).

All in all...slowly getting stronger...so I can't complain.

  • looked like a good workout! what amazed me was how easily you got 250X20.. prolly coulve gotten about 23-25.. and how you almost got 400 at bottom and 500 at top wit the bands

  • @PowerlifterTy16

Thanks T. Hopefully I can get that band rep soon.

  • wtf are you soo strong! lmao

  • @geoprimus

Ha, ha...why? Many, many years of training...

    Thanks man!

  • hey randy, im not doubting you at all but, what do you do when you cant get up the weight with no spotter?

  • @FallenFootwear11

What do I do? I do what I did when I failed with the 230 lbs + bands...I put it down on the spot racks and crawl out from under it. No big deal...the spot racks are used often when I max out...

  • Only thing I don't like is the death grip bro. One slip and say goodbye to your vocal cord. Oh wait, you probably won't be able to!

OK, all kidding aside that was straight beast.

  • bertz i think ur strcture is a bit like mine u can do meduim-heavy weights for reps aswell?
