Mad Respect From a 17yr Dj Few people that can still mix like this

fuckin nice man! .. i mix house and tech stuff.. but started off on vinyl, went through cds.. now using traktor ... back in the day the djs tried to keep 2 tracks together for as long as they could and in fact it was the mix of 2 tracks together that gave the power, energy and vibe to the night... these days most djs just top tail.. the beginnings with the ends of tracks and the mix lasts about 30 seconds ..shame really cause there's no creativity .... great vid for showing the noobs what's what

good job man, just wish it had some better quality
Yo your mix is really nice. I just got a mixtrack pro tryna learn serato dj intro with it but I like virtual dj better!!!! Whats your opinion on virtual dj?

@Timiya123 i love virtual dj. ive been on it for 8 years. just make sure you get a legal copy and get the registry tool(trust me it helps) but serato dj intro is great for scratch control.(the latency is almost 0!!) and a good way to get used to serato (in case you wanna upgrade to itch or scratch live)

Nice mix man. Awesome video. But what effect are you using in VDJ that makes it loop and fade out?

@rspain85 loop out 2.1

any heads up on learning to scratch on these controllers? struggling like shit. can beatmatch by ear and mix it up but not drop beats by scratching like you are showing here! Top video BTW

@Bull3t16 it really just depends on the program youre using (some has more latency than others) and just practice,practice,practice
