Good point about Dawkins' inconsistency. He simultaneously believes that we are nothing by lumbering robots at the mercy of our selfish genes, and also that we have the power to recognise this and defy them. These gung-ho naturalists pride themselves on following 'evidence' - or their assertions of what the facts are 'evidence' for, but they don't seem to consider philosophical consistency very important for some reason. Perhaps because they know they don't have it?

Dr. Steve is right. The basic enhancement of human about science has never been from Darwinian enthusiasism. In fact, it is direct projection of theological enthusiasism into science. Darwinian perspective does the opposite. So why would those dumb peoples trying to segregate science from religion or theological perspective? Get the dumb theory out of text book and sciene development will be better off.

What the woman refers to as "Bad Science" is actually Empiricism. What she refers to as "Good science", is Naturalist Philosophy. And then she goes on that she does not want her children to be confused with the facts, least it might lead them to believe in God. So who exactly is guilty of carrying in a religious viewpoint into the science classroom? The debate between ID and Darwinists can be summarized in one word: "Irony", because Darwinists are more guilty of the things they accuse ID of.

shared beliefs like in religion can encourage social cohesion, creativity and exploration like science. Your comments avoid these facts and go to the extremes. You also seem unable to differentiate use from abuse.

The Bible has 66 books. Apologetics not APOLOGISTICS simply means a defence of one's position. From the greek word apologia. It is possible to hate something that does not exist materially but exists as a concept even in literature like fairies. It is also possible to express hatred for something by DENYING IT EXISTS in the face of evidence that it really does.
