Race- Cadillac XLR-V gets smoked by 2007 Jeep SRT-8 .. 15-70ish

I drove down from Richmond, VA to Florida and met up with my buddy with the jeep. We had to do a quick race.So here is is: 2007 Jeep SRT-8 smokes 2006 Cadillac XLR-V. Yea the jeep is modded, caddy is stock, but still!!

We both honked the 1st honk, as he was getting anxious, but I honked the 3..
I want to get some more races between these 2 cars! this is a 15 to roughly 60/70mph.

As you hear, my buddy got a bit excited of the sound of HB's jeep!

Look, I'm apologizing on the behalf of my idiot brother. Who, I let for some stupid reason use my screen name. He doesn't own or will never own a cts-v. I watched this video myself, after finding the responces on my e- mail. I'm not a mopar fan myself but that jeep is bad ass. He must not have caught this but I did i heard you sayin you were driving for 12 hrs yeah I would have been pretty tired too. again please accept this and i will make sure he doesn't do this again.

No need for an apology, we all have our own opinions. The Jeep SRT-8 is a car that most people don't know about.

A 12 hr drive had nothing to do with me, the driver, as I was fine and pretty amped up. It was the car had been driven pretty hard for those 12 miles, just filled up with gas, and I had a bunch of heavy stuff in the trunk that was brought down from VA.

The video is what it is. I lost against that jeep, which runs an 11.8 1/4 mile.

the race was just starting...all wheel drive jeep will obvioulsy get ahead of a rear wheel drive xlr, had it gone another 10 seconds I dont think the outcome wouldve been the same.

looks to me they were neck in neck. The jeep started quicker as they werent all in step. But when the caddy started, the jeep didnt run away with it, he was just ahead to start with. Id like to see a fair comparison from a stop. And without traffic ahead so they had to slow down.

I'd rather have the XLR-V, much better looking car and built much better, not to mention far more luxurious. It doesn't reek of insecurity like an SRT8 Jeep either...
