What if Christmas became a world-changing event again by turning our focus back to the birth of Christ? What could happen to your family if this focus was celebrated in loud, bold and totally unexpected ways? What if you could actually trade your season of stress for a season celebration and unbelievable memories with your friends and family? What if all of this could save a life at the same time? It can.

  • ParaAbnormal Saves Christmas is a good video example of creative giving without spending

  • I don't think this video has anything to with NOT spending money I think it has more to with lets spend our money on something MORE useful. istead of buying that Wii lets spend it on food for someone who might otherwise not have anything.

  • @MrBorks

You're happy in a world where people are dying from something we can stop?Goody.

  • i will totally agree with you Andrewwb7. bout pushing this video...they arnt...but everyone needs 2 spread the word. that is pathetic about chrisTmas. people are dying and AMERICANS are spending there money on stupid gifts that wont last as long as a human life. PEOPLE ARE SO SELF ABSORBED. as well as i am.

  • No one is 'forcing a view' in this video - just sharing a creative idea, a new approach to giving. If you don't like the idea of sending money out of the country - there are plenty of worthy needy causes here in the USA to support. And using 'relegion' to force an idea? - Pardon me, but Christmas IS primarily a religious holiday. It is expressly a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ!hello

  • What I am doing for Christmas this year is still buying gifts, so yes I am a consumer for the economy, but they aren't really material gifts for the family. I have bought portions of chickens and goats from the Heifer Foundation to give to people as well as gift certificates to Kiva, beads from the women in Africa, and shirts from Rosa Loves. My thinking is that these gifts help others more than any gift that I could give my loved ones. I'm not religious, but I do believe in helping people.

  • Well think. If you lost you job and Americas economy went down the hole because you didn't buy meaningless gifts, think about if you gave your money to a charity that helps children in say, Zimbabwe. In america the unemployment rate is about 6%, then you look at Zimbabwe and there unemployment rate is at 25%! If you really just think about it then you know that giving your money to causes that will make the world a better and cleaner place is a lot better of an idea than giving plastic junk away

  • My post does not say to spread the view to spend more money, or i would have said LETS SPEND 500 BILLION NOW, not lets keep it the same, not pressing a seperate view but an already accepted one by the majority.

Whilst i liked the msg presented in the video to help others, the spreading of a religious message to sell it was another shallow attempt to spread a view.

  • I think the point isnt to stop spending but rather use some of that money for good... i.e. Fresh water to everyone 10 billion dollars...

Oh, and it is impossible to live in a world where no one forces views. Think im wrong? Your post basically is trying to force your own viewpoint that we need to spend money and no one should force views. It is impossible to live in that type of world.
