Did you know? Astronomy is amazing.
Yeah, i knew that :)
Not going to be an astronomer (they don't earn that much money, although they should :( ) but i've always loved it almost as much as i love computer science.

@u3190 I only have an issues with the mans agenda, If indeed his hypothesis was sound it would get much more credence in the scientific community and i'm assuming it hasn't.
But it would certainly seem that doctor Hartnett started with the presumption of a young universe, a young earth and the scientific accuracy of the bibles claims (whatever they are)
So he's not an individual I can respect or lend any sort of credibility to.
I guess i put him in the same catagory as Christopher Langan.

@u3190 His article on *ahem* creationwiki explains his position, so I outright reject it.
-
Why do you immediately assume Hartnett uses deductive reasoning simply because he is a Christian?
-
@u3190 I completely agree, there's no point in discussing something when somebody has an obvious agenda and bias.
Flawed methodology, flawed outcome.
-
typical... Reject something before you even study it simply because the creator of the theory is a theist. There is no point discussing this further if you won't acknowledge your own arrogance.
-
@u3190 So ignore the assumption of dark matter, and insert the assumption of a 5th dimension.
He also seems to base his findings on Christian scripture, so I already outright reject his methodology.
song name?
