    This was Shuggie Otis's dad...Shuggie wrote the song Strawberry Letter 22 which was later redone by the Brother's Johnson which went to #1 in the charts. I still love that song today, such a truly beautiful love song.

    No superlatives could possibly do this justice. What an outrageously great TV show this must have been! So much talent just on this one episode. Johnny was fantastic in many ways and far more influential than most people know. Loose and living the dream, man, playing and promoting the music he loved. Of course, Hamp nearly steals the show here. Solid!
