An extremely impractical mouse controlled plane I made. Uses the mouse like it's a joystick and an oscilloscope to map the position of the mouse. Good concept, but warrants a re-design.
@redreaper2020 That way you wouldn't really be able to control pitch and roll independently though, it would need to have some sort of spoiler yaw the plane toward the location you're looking, which would be fine, but eliminates most aerobatics, although you're definitely right. That's better than this control scheme.
Use bearing and elevation adv pod controller or bearing/elevation on a vector from eye aim position. then you can just aim in a general direction and fly that direction. Eliminates the whole issue of eye pod. :D
