I like the reworked version because of how they finished the scene.Other than that, this one kinda touched my heart . It was wonderful, but I feel that they felt the cricket didn't deserve to have to run all the way down the stairwell after her again. :D Let's just say it was for his sake.

I think tha tthe original is good, but now I REALLY wish that they found a way to incorporate this within the original movie.

(...) reflection is shown later (dragon scene) but i think exactly THAT would be such a meaningful scene & repetition of that 'When will my Reflection show who i am?'-Thought. And i always felt that this song was too short and that something was missing. So that's why i'm really sad that they often cut out great scenes but after all Mulan is one of my favourite movies. :)

This scene is so beautiful. Like "If I never knew you". I'm so sad that they cutted this scene out. (Here in Germany they don't put the scenes back into the movie - so there are no German Versions with them). I really wish, they'd kept this. It shows Mulans Character so great and i just love the part where she rides away with her horse. If i imagine how this had looked like if it would be animated... And i don't think there would be too much repetition just because of this song. Yes, her (...)

Don't worry, Mulan. It's all going to be fine. First you'll get a chance to be yourself (to an extent). Then you'll get to prove how much better women are than me. xD After that, you save China and get the highest honor in your country, and your family is indeed very proud of you. And in the second movie, you even get to be a bride. See? You get everything you want. So don't cry.

i dont know which version i like better, the other one is shorter but humble and leaves a impact, this version shows mulans personality and how she really feels better
