Barton and many other neocons get a lot of support from the energy companies. They resist change when it has been proven beyond a credible doubt that change is what we need. The republicons as a whole work to block progressive attempts to protect the only habitat our future generations will have to sustain them. It is foolish, ignorant, and transparent.
We should endeavor to live sustainably in our environment. It's a matter of self-preservation.
