wow i have a buddy that has an ion redline and its stick and i whoop him with my 2001 is300 and mine is sport shift auto with a k&n flpk cold air intake. i think saturn is weak

You also have to think about the car...Most of the IS300s are autos and with those mods usually run (from what I've seen anyway) 15.5-15.6. I have a manual IS300 and run a consistent 14.5@95 with just an intake, cat-back and cam gear and I have ran a 14.4@96. After I get my Mazzuri Super I should be running a 14.2 at close to 98mph.
Not saying that'll beat the redline BUT being a second in a half fast makes a huge difference. What are you running in yours?

yeah at just 3000lbs the ion has a really good power to weight ratio.

well the ion comes stock with "underrated 205 hp" but i guess some claim 212 -220. the is300 comes stock with 215hp and 218ft/lb. Then again its a N/a 2jz...so once forced inducted...its then just a 4 door supra... whats the curb weight on one of those ions anyway...they are pretty nice cars.
