www.nxtutorials.com brings you a helpful tutorial on the use of show/hide/select by attribute name. When you are modeling something with a lot of construction entities and you are constantly blanking and un-blanking them it is a great help to be able to give the entities specific attribute names. Then when you are blanking / hiding the entities you can type in the name instead of selecting them by clicking. This is an especially helpful technique when you want to un-blank one thing when a lot of things are blanked.
