And in Texas the legislature eliminated the required technology application credit for graduation ... where will the choice and exposure to take computer science come from? The course exists, but technology teachers in Texas fear their schools will not support courses with low enrollment. The low-income schools with minority students will lose out and the digital divide grows ... We need Star Trek Virtual computing courses to build interest starting in elementary school. Amazing what you do.
