@IPstixrawesume vibe, a lot of split singles for sure, but it think that main lick, the one he plays at about :38 and that he comes back to as a theme is RLRRL. Lmk if I'm wrong

To those who keep asking about the "trigger pad," it's the Remo TSS Black Maxx Marching snare practice pad. The only thing electronic on Jojo's kit are the bass and snare triggers: everything else is acoustic, because if it weren't, that would defeat the purpose of Nerve.

@hchern88 It's not a rudiment: a lot of it is a controlled bounce with some moeller added in for quick accents. Other than that, a lot of it is split singles between the hi-hat and the TSS.
Buy his DVD set: everything you need to know is in there. And seriously buy it: it's worth it.

@teundrumhead It is a Roland SPD-S. Amazing pieces of technology. He made them famous for the crowd I used to sell drums to in St. Louis.
