  • Thats not a .44 magnum.

  • @erichoward15 I never said it was one?

  • i wasnt aware they make 44.s caliber back then.. i thought the round our choice was 45. or 45-70

  • @originalbrodyg420 No the most commen calibers back then were .36 and .44 the .45 was developed alot later in the 1880's...

  • I think outlaw Josie carried a Walker Colt.

  • @biguy525 Yea I think your right....I heard the revolvers from JOSEY WALES were his own guns? Thanks for watching!!

  • @sum12see i have one JUST like that but mine has a top to it can you help me out on finding out what it is

  • @sum12see you did at about 36 sec. but thats an easy slip.

  • Brass frame revolvers are a waste of money if you shoot a lot. The brass stretches! It will stretch so the cylinder gap gets so wide the hammer will not hit the caps half the time. Accuracy is pitiful. Buy a steel framed revolver that will last. I've been fooling with black powder pistols since 1973 when these brass ones sold for $69 new. This is not a real copy of any gun. A poor copy of a Griswold & Gunnison .36 which was made in 1862-64 in Griswold, Ga. It's not a magnum by any means either

  • Cabelas has these for $129.00 on sale right now. I may go pick one up.

  • @jimigzable Yeah, the original was. Modern replicas are chambered in larger bores. As if we could out-badass the guys who carried the original .36's.

  • @MisterThirtyTwo the 1851 Navy was only .36...

  • @sum12see Are you sure?....0:35
