Brass frame revolvers are a waste of money if you shoot a lot. The brass stretches! It will stretch so the cylinder gap gets so wide the hammer will not hit the caps half the time. Accuracy is pitiful. Buy a steel framed revolver that will last. I've been fooling with black powder pistols since 1973 when these brass ones sold for $69 new. This is not a real copy of any gun. A poor copy of a Griswold & Gunnison .36 which was made in 1862-64 in Griswold, Ga. It's not a magnum by any means either

@jimigzable Yeah, the original was. Modern replicas are chambered in larger bores. As if we could out-badass the guys who carried the original .36's.

i wasnt aware they make 44.s caliber back then.. i thought the round our choice was 45. or 45-70

@originalbrodyg420 No the most commen calibers back then were .36 and .44 the .45 was developed alot later in the 1880's...
