Does anyone know why the youtube player suddenly turned to shit? The pause button does'nt display all the time any more, and when it does it blocks part of the screen. How to I revert back to the old version?

I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!! ... OK I have a prob with VLC....I am using win 7...Before when I used VLC as my default player, it would make my toolbar icons all "VLC traffic cones"....Now i don't make it my default player....But now it does something really strange...When I install VLC, and i click on any icon like excel, word, etc on my toolbar, VLC opens up....Word, excel, etc. doesn't open...Only VLC opens up ?? Any fix ?

@smartdon007 The only thing I can think of is that Windows 7 is setting VLC as the program to open these file types, you should be able to right click the files and go to "open with..." and reset it to use excel and word etc, idk why it would do that. Too be honest I haven't worked much with windows 7 so idk if this will work but thats all I can think of, good luck.
