My 5 yr old Naim and Jeremy Lin Face Time/Skype chat Part 2

My 5 year old Naim was devastated by the Knicks deciding NOT to match Jeremy Lin's offer sheet from the Houston Rockets, the video reached many viewers and also reached Jeremy Lin. Jeremy was so touched by the original video that he decided to reach out to us and offer to speak to Naim over the phone to try to cheer him up, knowing my 5 year old would not believe me, I suggested if they could virtually meet via Skype/Facetime instead and Jeremy (being as awesome as he is) agreed. Naim was so shy :) he made me do all the talking. Thanks again Jeremy hopefully we'll see you at the bb game when we welcome you back to The Garden.

The Jeremy Lin chapter was the most fun I've had as a Knicks fan in over a decade and it was devastating to see it come to such an unceremonious end. Living in Los Angeles now, I often wonder why I try so hard to follow a team whose ownership has such little regard for their fanbase. In either case, I wish Lin the best in Houston and will talk myself into this current Knicks squad.

Lol I'm learning. I agree with you 100% I was upset with myself for having my heart so invested in sports moreover the Knicks. I feel like the idiot girlfriend/boyfriend that doesn't get it. Wish I didn't bleed orange and blue sometimes.

the way i see it, it is not that naim is shy. it's that he knows too well (unknowingly of course. lol) that words are just inadequate. what can he possibly say to express how he feels? for me, naim's "shyness" is the living proof of his heart of gold. just like jeremy.

What a cool thing to happen to your son! And what a standup guy Jeremy Lin is! My god, and I thought my love of him would start subsiding now that he's playing for a Texas team but damn if this doesn't warm my heart and makes me interested... I hope you and your son get to meet him when Houston plays the Knicks, it's awesome that he would do that for you guys.

I'm 25 and older than Lin. If I had a video chat with him, man I would resort back to my infantile mannerisms almost instantly lol, my rooting reflexes would come back, start sucking on my thumb again hahaha..
