not only did the browns offer him the job, but after the cowboys lost to the rams, jerry jones offered Cowher 6 mil. to coach the cowboys, and Cowher said stick it. if you think about it, the cowboys offered him 6 mil. and he said no (despite the rivalry between the steelers and cowboys) do you really think the browns have anything even close to 6 mil. to offer Cowher? i doubt it. he won't budge...
As expected, Bill Cowher will sit out another year before coming back to coach in 2010 though he will talk to the Jets about their opening. Though, I don't expect anything to come of that, either.
