Ok I didn't get permission from Howard Devoto, or Noko but as a fan, I just thought that they needed to get a bit of the recognition for what they have done: Luxuria's Myspace-
http://www.myspace.com/luxuriaofficial
Basicly the middle part of the flowering season here in my garden... then the earlier part would be simply crocus and tulips, but this is the middle so the next would include lavender, roses, poppies, and fruits as well as calendula and echinanica.
a small snip of a song by Luxuria called "Celebrity" from Unanswerable Lust is used..
Special thanks to Howard Devoto, Noko, and Pete Shelley.
To Howard because I saw his attention turn slightly across the room when mentioning my garden.
Pansies to Pete for his kind thoughts.
Can't say I enjoyed the video much, but I absolutely LOVE "Celebrity"!Well done for promoting it.

I live there from sept 95 to feb 99. I did the Bill Nelson tribute there in oct 98. But the reason I showed up in Chicago and got stuck was because of a scholarship to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.. I even got to climb on the lions outside.. shhh don't tell anyone!!

I'm thinking about the photos of atmospheric phenominea I got.. but there really isn't much more than maybe 60 seconds of work there.. but double sun, and hallo effect as well as false auroras are kind of fun, but in real life, timelaps is the best way to see the drama of it all.

I lived in the tropics in Miami for about 19 years of my early life, it was refreshing to have a change of season.. when I hit Chicago.. and compared to Stockholm, Chicago is too cold and uprepared for cold weather..and I was there for about 4 years.

Yeah, I know. Special sky things! lol
Too cold for me, still! I like sun, and heat.
I lived in Africa for a year, and let's just say that it was a bit too extreme. But I'd take Africa over any cold Antarctica any day!

The farther north you go here, the more sun you get in summer, not 24 hours a day the whole summer in the Stockholm area but, there are days where it really happens! It stays like that for a whole month in Jämtland.. because its closer to the polar circle..over the 64 the degree. But winter has special sky things too you know!!

Oh that's right! I forgot about your midnight sun! How cool!

But winter is so "Swedish" lol! I can't do summer, I get too sleepy, because of all the light and not getting enough sleep then.. If I had a real camera I think I'd do timelapse of the "midnight sun".. its really unique.
