  • It's sacrilege that the release of this great series on dvd could not have the original music. It ruins many of the scenes and jokes. Like this one, if you take out the queen song, the joke doesn't work.

  • Don't you wish today's DJ's would say that about the music they play? :)

  • man, that is pretty fucking funny

  • @RichYan33 Lot of hardcore Queen fans HATE that song. It also was played to death. I don't think a single second of any day during the summer and fall of 1980 passed without some radio station playing the song. The hard rock fans didn't go for the funk/disco thing and thought Queen was selling out (like KISS did).

  • OH WOW!!!

    what season?

  • @RichYan33 Yeah, but hey - as much of a Queen fan as I am, I still grin at the delivery Hessman gives a fictional character's opinion. :)

  • fellow babies ;)

  • @Champion1970 I agree 100%! Taking out the original music for the syndicated airings (later on in the 80's) was criminal! From the time it went off the air in 82 until around 1987, re-runs still had all the original music in them. Then toward the end of the 80's, some songs would be replaced with some studio band stuff, which really sucked because one particular scene I remember with Andy singing along with a Stones song and it was eventually replaced with a POS studio band song which was bad.

  • @Champion1970

Thats OK, they just cut down the episode anyway.

  • @RichYan33 THIS SONG by Queen. Not Queen.

  • @bradchaz Howard Stern used to - before he did what he does now on the radio. ;)

  • What happened to the good old days when DJ's did just that? Today they just pop in pre-recorded sets. Please bring back the days when DJ's had control of what they wanted to play, not corporatized music.
