Sting does a lip-sync version of "Why Does the Sun Shine?" The vocal performance is by Tom Glazer from the 1959 "Space Songs" album. This song was also covered by They Might Be Giants.

That is the original version, or at least the audio is. TMBG covered it (in the same vein as "Int The Middle, In The Middle, In The Middle", "Istanbul" and many others).
