@raystopher Also Keep in mind that the Germans outnumbered them 2 to 1. Also the Germans had far better equipment then the Poles. The Polish military sadly never had the chance

superb movie ,the polish where the only country that fight so brave the nazi and in the movie they could go deeper and show -what was next after they give up !!!1

Rest of Poland was fighting too. You must understand Westerplatte was a post deep in enemy's land, sorounded by East Prussia and german Gdańsk. Germans controled sea and sky. There was no way to get a support.

Not enough is said about the heroism of the Poles in WW2, As an Englishman in the US, I salute the Polish armed forces and thank them for their bravery. The film was excellent,watched all 10 parts. Thanks for posting.
