  • Not enough is said about the heroism of the Poles in WW2, As an Englishman in the US, I salute the Polish armed forces and thank them for their bravery. The film was excellent, watched all 10 parts. Thanks for posting.

  • @hoplite1766 Yes you salute. Hmm do you know that many of their grandchildren are picking cucumbers in UK to be able to feed own families? Yes we thank Churchill and Roosevelt so much everyday for tradeing us... Next time when you will scream, with your, EDL. BNP mates "Poles go home!" think about it.

  • @cripplehawk 2:1? Maybe not 209- Poles ~3,400+artillery- germans.

  • 3:01 Mówi załoga, a w tłumaczeniu pisze >szybko, czy jaki chuj?> nie znam angielskiego i nie chcę znać, ale coś tu jest nie tak. Po co taki tekst?

  • great movie

  • "Da kommen die Banditen" Verfluchte Schwein ! Tapfere Soldaten, nicht Banditen. SS-Manner waren die schwarzen Besten !!! Polnische Helden !!!

  • @raystopher Also Keep in mind that the Germans outnumbered them 2 to 1. Also the Germans had far better equipment then the Poles. The Polish military sadly never had the chance

  • superb movie ,the polish where the only country that fight so brave the nazi and in the movie they could go deeper and show -what was next after they give up !!!1

  • @raystopher

Rest of Poland was fighting too. You must understand Westerplatte was a post deep in enemy's land, sorounded by East Prussia and german Gdańsk. Germans controled sea and sky. There was no way to get a support.

  • great movie. the heroic defenders of Westerplatte shall not be forgotten.

greetings from the Netherlands and thank you for the support of Polish soldiers in our liberation

  • defending warsaw and getting smashed between the german and soviet forces. This unit was cut off from the rest of the army and had no way to retreat, hence they held out for as long as they could
