This cap and trade or tax bill passed in Congress with a 219 - 212 vote. The Republicans lie when they say "We have learned our lesson." This and other damaging legislation would not have passed without Republican votes. Republicans are just as guilty. These people want to force you to conserve energy by increasing the price of all energy. Obama and Pelosi both admit this is to increase your bills for the sole purpose of forcing you to "pay more and use less energy." Everything you do will cost more. The switch board was over whelmed and shut down several times with calls demanding a no vote. Congress ignored you.

Today Monday, July 20, 2009, India has made it very clear to Sec. of State Comrade Clinton that India will never at anytime or for any reason participate in this kind of "climate change" Tax legislation. This makes it all the more important that this bill be defeated in senate.

Cap and Trade in the Senate now the American Power Act would increase taxes on the average household up to $3200 according to the RNC gas prices increase by $2.58 a gallon according to George C. Marshall Institute. With Obama demanding the cessation of offshore drilling gas prices are expected to increase yet another $5 a gallon, because we would grow dependent upon foreign nations we are not allies with in order to provide our oil. They would price gouge w/ gas prices increasing to $10/gal!
