When i play it there are always tears in my eyes at the end of this part. Great performance.

Great player!! excellent!!!! xx
-
Saint Saens is definately an under-rated composer!!!!
-
My teacher says that at the beggining of this piece, when the clarinet plays "fa mi sol fa" it seems that it is saying "yo te amo".
-
very sensitive performance
-
Nice playing and you have a nice clarinet sound !
-
allergretto... right this is less than allegro... less than 120bpm..
what i need to know is, whats the best speed for this to be played at?
to be honest cant even get the fast bits doing the same speed at you krps82, but nice playing how long does it take to grasp the tricky fast bits.. and the Db scale.??

I played this piece for my end of school exams back in 2002 and was so lovely to hear it again played so beautifully. Well done!

It was definitely very good, but as someone said you do seem to raise your fingers quite a bit and i think it may have *slightly* affected the fiddly faster bits. But then I have the same problem with this one haha.
Thnx, guys, especially for the contrasts comment, We've worked really hard especially in this area. I'll be posting the rest of Sonata and Martinu Sonatina in a short notice. Please keep on commenting, especially the stuff that you don't prefer that much. It will be inspiring for my future performances!
