I played this game ONCE in my life. It was at the museum in a nearby city once. We went there on field trip, and it was simply by chance they were exhibiting new arcade games there.
If I remember correctly, it cost $2 in quarters to play. Being maybe 9 years old, I thought it was a bargain :D
@WillsTube1 According to just about every site that Google brought up, Wikipedia being one of them, they all say the release date is 1991. If you can find sources that say that it came out in 1987, please share. I didn't see it until 1992 so that year was my recollection of it. It's a great game and unfortunately I haven't seen it in any arcades these days.
Regarding the lag on the dvd version. How can a modern dvd player be slower than a old 12 inch laser disk player. Surely the seek time would be worse on a 12 inch laser disk compared to a 5 inch dvd.
i played it at disney as well, but i thought it was very unique for 1991 though ! my brother and i would knock back a few heineken's and play this. cool upload i have to say that we never saw that game anywhere else though....
the game sucked big time i remember seeing it at disney world, the only cool thing about it was the actual hologram projector itself ,i dont know why anyone would want a home port or a dvd of it it was so tacky and campy ,especially the part with the toy robot ,i used to have that same tor robot ,it was pretty cool there were several versions of it,but i liked the one i had,it had a tank you put cooking oil in and it would shoot out smoke puffs,by burning the oil
holy fucking shit I don't believe it
