I had no idea Bobby Sherwood was this good. Swings as good as Benny Goodman on a good day. Enjoy!
Also, this is the earliest CAPITOL label and teh record comes in the early Capitol sleeve, even harder to find than the record!

Thanks for posting this! I have this on a small 33, along with Sherwood's Forest, that my dad gave to me when I was in school and played the trumpet. Bobby Sherwood was one of my musical heroes, along with Harry James.

Still my favorite swing record of all time. First heard the Glen Gray version way back when0n the "Sound Of The Great Bands" album. I thought that was great until I bought this. What a difference!

Bobby was the most talented musician at his time. He once made a recording in which he played every instrument. It was an instrumental tune he wrote, and was one of the early examples of multiple recording by one person. In all, he was heard on all 15 instruments. roycon1000
