@ArjunJethwa In reality its the WTA that needs the Williams sisters, the two sisters can easily leave tennis and work on their fashion brands or use the millions of dollars they have to invest on all sorts of things. Tennis will never be the same without the Williams. They will be missed when that day comes, i give it three more years for serena and maybe two for venus.

I don't think she means that she hates tennis. Everyone has a love/hate thing with their career. On the other hand, Serena has accomplished pretty much everything - and more - a tennis player could do. No.1. All four Grand Slams in both singles and doubles. She doesn't have a singles Olympic Gold Medal..but she's got the doubles, twice. At 30, she's probably ready to move on to another stage of her life since she's played tennis for most of it.

Wow, if anything I like the Williams Sisters for playing because of the story & especially the years they were on top. Two black girls winning in tennis...of course they brought attn to American tennis and tennis in general. Serena and Venus are both the last two Americans to win grand slams PERIOD. Isner/Querry/Roddick/Mattek...­who in the next generation will step to the plate...male or female? The Williams Sisters are tennis superstars & there's no denying that.
