This is a video of Danny Chapman's 2d fluid dynamics demo. This gives people a nice idea of what we might be seeing in 3D in games with this next coming console/PC generation.

It's downloadable from Danny's website.

  • The game's name is PHUN XDD

    ну балуется человек XDD

  • This isn't actually "Phun", but phun appears to use the exact same method for simulating fluids.

    Phun is certainly much better.

  • this is the best water simulation in 2D i've seen so far. good job

  • Their basically circles with a render on top to make it look like water just like everything else i have seen, but if someone here on youtube.com could make something like Hydrophobia's water physics that would be impressive.

  • oh yay

    :P

  • Haha i found a glitch on this if you shake it very hard the water gets stuck into laggy little clumps everywhere :3

  • Its a cool code!

Phun can be better, but I personally dont like it.. too many little annoying things..

    Its almost like OE-cake..

  • ну что поделаешь хД

  • Only it lags more, depending on your computers speed of course.. XD

  • Look up the game hydrophobia. It is a new game with real-time 3d fluid dynamics on a huge scale. Not much info, but I am hyped!
